Sprouts Preschool is designed as a three-year program within a small mixed-age community in a nature-based setting. Sprouts Preschool operates on a school-year calendar.

Sprouts preschool offers three program options with two classrooms and a school maximum of 18 kids in mixed-age groups from 2 - 6 years old.

Outside, we generally operate as a single class of 18 with two head teachers. Kids participate in art projects, stories, and nature activities. 

Our art projects are process-based: building creativity, familiarizing ourselves with our unique voices, and experimenting with many types of 'making our mark' on the world. 

Our nature studies are inspired by real-time experiences on our nature playground. Noticing, discovering, exploring, and learning about things that happen right outside.

Outside play is a huge part of the Sprouts day! We get outside in all kinds of weather and, in nice weather, spend the whole day outdoors! We get messy in the mud pit, dance in the sprinkler, discover insects in the garden, build forts in the snow, and sing in the rain. 

On our 7,000 sq ft nature playground, kids have free access to take risks and build confidence, imagine and create with loose parts, and build a love of nature that will last a lifetime.
