offering
mini Sprouts experiences:
45 minutes
of pure Sprouts magic
At Sprouts, we provide the time, space, and community for playing, exploring nature, and creating art. Our mission is to inspire uninhibited creativity, an enduring connection with nature, a tight-knit supportive community, a powerful sense of empathy, an advanced imagination, limitless self-confidence, and genuine grit.
Our preschool pedagogy extends to our studio classes.
Children are active participants! We've experienced far too many preschool activity classes that involve a lot of 'wait time'. We're replacing this 'wait time' at Sprouts with play time! Children that are finished with the studio activity are invited to play in the classrooms or on the nature playground.
Each 45-minute class includes art projects and play time with Caity & Ellen, the owners, directors, and teachers of Sprouts. With over ten years of childcare experience, Sprouts Art Studio classes are designed with the child in mind.
Art is for exploring, finding our unique vocies, and practicing making our mark on the world. At Sprouts, all art is good art!
Kids will experiment with art materials and processes designed to inspire creativity and imagination through art.
Sprouts Art Studio classes are perfect for children that are building stamina for fine motor activities - kids may choose to spend the entire class creating or finish their project and enjoy some free play time in the Sprouts classrooms or on the nature playground.
No supplies are required.
Each 45-minute Yoga Studio Class includes yoga and mindfulness with Yogi Kristina!
Kids can come learn yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindfulness techniques through stories, songs, and games! Yoga is about connecting - with ourselves, our community, and our environment.
No experience necessary. Yoga mat optional (will be used outdoors).
Yogi Kristina is a Yoga teacher and mom of three (and beloved Sprouts parent!) who brings more than a decade of teaching experience to the mat. She loves empowering kids through yoga and mindfulness, building tools for resilience, and showing that movement is healthy and FUN!
